How we collect, use and protect your data - clearly and without jargon.

Introduction

Anantya TechLabs (“we”, “us” or “our”) operates the website www.anantyatechlabs.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site or submit an enquiry, how we use it and your rights regarding that information.

Zirakpur, Punjab 140603, IN, is responsible for your personal data - its “controller” under the EU and UK GDPR and its “data fiduciary” under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

Information We Collect

We collect information only when you voluntarily submit it through one of our forms - a project brief, an audit request, a hiring request, an Academy application, or a request to email you a free-tool report. Depending on the form, this may include:

  • Name and email address
  • For emailed tool reports: your email address and the website or domain you checked
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Company name, website URL and industry
  • Services or package you are interested in
  • Business goals, challenges and past agency experience
  • For hiring requests: the role, experience level and number of people you need, the engagement type, start date and monthly budget, and details of the work
  • For Academy applications: the track you are applying for, your background, experience level, portfolio link, motivation and when you can start
  • If you book a call: the details the booking form asks for, such as your name, email address and any notes you add
  • How you found us: the campaign tags on the link you arrived from. These stay in your browser for that visit only and reach us only if you book a call.

We also collect standard server-side data automatically, including your IP address, browser type and referring URL, solely for security and rate-limiting purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiry, audit request, hiring request or Academy application
  • Send you a confirmation email acknowledging receipt
  • Prepare a personalized audit or proposal for your business
  • Match you with suitable candidates, or assess your Academy application
  • Email you the tool report you asked for, and nothing else
  • See which of our campaigns and channels bring enquiries
  • Prevent spam and abuse through rate limiting

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party and we do not use it for advertising or unsolicited marketing.

Why We Use Your Data

  • Replying to what you send us - enquiries, audit and hiring requests, Academy applications and tool reports you ask for: because you asked us to, as a step before a possible contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and for the purpose you gave it to us under India's DPDP Act.
  • Knowing what brought you - the campaign tags sent with a booking: our legitimate interest in understanding which of our marketing works (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Analytics cookies - Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity: only with your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Keeping the site safe and working - bot checks, rate limiting and error monitoring: our legitimate interest in protecting the website and its forms (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Third-Party Service Providers

We use a limited set of infrastructure services to operate this website. Each processes data only as necessary to perform its function:

  • Resend - delivers transactional emails, including your confirmation email and our internal notification.
  • Upstash - provides Redis for rate limiting and QStash for background job queuing.
  • Vercel - hosts this website and processes request data in accordance with their privacy policy.
  • Cal.com - shows our booking calendar on the contact page and handles call bookings; what you enter when booking, such as your name and email address, is processed by Cal.com and shared with us.
  • Google Maps - shows our office on the About page, only after you click Show map.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile - checks that form submissions come from a person, not a bot, using signals from your browser such as your IP address. It sets no advertising cookies and shows a challenge only when it needs one.
  • Sentry - records errors that occur on the website, with technical details such as the page address and browser type, so we can find and fix problems.

All service providers are contractually bound to process data only on our instructions and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

Data Retention

We retain submitted enquiry data for up to 12 months from the date of submission or until you request deletion - whichever comes first. Email delivery records are retained by our email provider in line with their standard retention policies.

Cookies & Analytics

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only if you click Allow in the cookie banner. If you click Reject, or make no choice, neither loads and neither sets cookies. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; withdrawing consent deletes their cookies on this site. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Reject.

Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how visitors use the site. It sets two cookies — _ga and _ga_[ID] — both of which expire after 2 years and hold a random identifier that tells visits apart. They do not contain your name or contact details, but the identifier does relate to your browser, so we treat it as personal data.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors interact with the site - clicks, scrolling and movement between pages - through heatmaps and session replays, so we can improve it. Clarity sets cookies including _clck (1 year) and _clsk (1 day), and masks what you type into forms by default. Microsoft also sets cookies on its own domains (clarity.ms and bing.com), such as MUID, which identify your browser to Microsoft. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, from our hosting provider, to count page views and visits. It sets no cookies and stores no personal data: visitors are told apart by a short-lived identifier that is discarded every 24 hours. Vercel Speed Insights measures how quickly pages load and respond, along with the page address, browser and device type; it sets no cookies and does not identify you. We do not run advertising or retargeting from this website, and we have switched off advertising storage in Google Analytics and Clarity. We use analytics data only to improve this website, not to build advertising profiles.

Your Rights

Wherever you are, you have the right to:

  • Get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
  • Have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected or updated
  • Have your data erased once it is no longer needed
  • Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it - for cookies, through Cookie settings at the bottom of every page
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to do so yourself

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to:

  • Receive the data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable format
  • Object to processing based on our legitimate interests
  • Ask us to restrict how we use your data while a concern is resolved

If you are in California or another US state with a privacy law: we do not sell or share your personal information, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals.

Grievances

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, email our grievance contact at hello@anantyatechlabs.com. We will acknowledge it promptly and resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India or, if you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, to your local data protection authority.

Children

This website is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Academy applicants must confirm they are 18 or older. If you believe a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.

International Data Transfers

Anantya TechLabs is based in India, and some of our service providers are based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside your own country. Where data leaves the EU, the EEA or the UK, our providers protect it with the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where they are certified, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as set out in their data processing terms.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change means using your data for a new purpose, we will ask for your consent first.
